Careers in Natural Resources and the Environment

People in this sector work in agriculture and forestry or have other livelihoods close to nature. The change in the economic structure can already be seen in rural areas; the sector is currently facing the challenge of dealing with this change by looking for new operating methods and livelihoods and by creating new business opportunities. Over the next few years, the activities will become more and more characterised by the requirement for sustainable use of natural resources.

There are five three-year qualifications in the natural resources sector with a scope of 120 credits (one credit is equivalent to 40 hours of a student's work). The qualifications include a total of 15 study programmes.
