Ironing can be made easier by organising the
handling of laundry carefully.
- The ironing will be quicker, if you hang the wet
garment in its original shape straightening and stretching the
seams.
- Use fabric conditioner in the last rinse, unless
it is forbidden in the care instructions of the garment.
- When collecting dry laundry, fold it neatly to minimise
wrinkling.

Hanging laundry to dry |

First, flap the damp shirt briskly
once or twice in the air, and then straighten the row of buttons and
the collar by stretching them lightly. If necessary, stretch the sleeves
and the seams. It is best to peg the shirt on the line from the hem.
Bright sunlight may make a white shirt yellow and discolour a colourful
shirt. |
